Scott Burkey serves as Director of Business Development for an progressive interactive agency in Atlanta, Georgia and is responsible for developing new business, expanding his company's brand recognition, and providing critical e-business insights for his clients. Scott is responsible for consulting key Fortune 1000 accounts that his company serves. Mr. Burkey started his career in technology as a Webmaster for CNN Interactive in the mid 90s. Since then Scott has worked in variety of capacities including Wireless Applications Developer for iXL and Director of Technology for Magner Financial Network. In 2007, he wrote an excerpt, which was included in Chris Baggott's book entitled, "Email Marketing by the Numbers," a blueprint for planning and optimizing successful email campaigns. Scott contributes to many publications and mentors young technology and marketing professionals in the United States. Scott Burkey also serves as board member on the Atlanta Electronic Commerce Forum and is a Microsoft Certified Professional.
Scott is a proud Desert Storm Veteran of the United States Marine Corp, having served from 1986 to 1991. Additionally, he is married and a proud father of three daughters and a son.
